Hi Everyone - welcome to my blog! My name is Karen and I am the proud mum of two young people, - my daughter is in the second year of her medical degree and my son is in Year 13 and has applied to University to study Maths and Philosophy. Most of my blogs will follow /comment on various (nail-biting) aspects of my son's application journey over the course of the year -however there may be snippets of info/tips about supporting your child once they have flown the nest.
About me - I work in the Pharmacy Department of a large Foundation Trust Hospital and am a single parent. I have two undergraduate degrees - acquired with 30 years between them!
